I post this here, not taking a side of the Cubs or Sox - though I am a Sox fan through-and-through.
I post this because it is very hard to find - even on the world wide web.
The
last article I found that listed the Cubs vs. White Sox all-time record
(post-season, exhibition, spring training, and inter-league) was from
2005 and was found at whitesoxpride.mlblogs.com. It's no longer there.
At that time, the all-time record was
White Sox - 152
Cubs - 109
ties - 6
Since then, I've been keeping track year-by-year manually, as this statistic is nearly impossible to find anymore.
So, here is the deal - so far in 2016 the records are (following 2016 4 game series):
White Sox 188
Cubs 130
ties 6
And for those that are curious, this includes the 1906 World Series which the White Sox won 4 games to 2.
