Featured Running Event of the Week - AshleyCan Pediatric Cancer Foundation Run For The Cure 5k


The AshleyCan Pediatric Cancer Foundation Run For A Cure 5k is one of many events at the 2016 Steger Days of Music, in Steger, IL (Chicago Southland, about 30 miles due south of downtown Chi-town).

The AshleyCan Pediatric Cancer Foundation is a registered 501c3 charity dedicate to raising awareness for Pediatric Cancer, providing assistance for families of children with cancer, providing funding for research, and helping ensure a future for the brave children fighting the disease.

Date : July 9
Start : 8:00am
Location : 3320 Lewis, Steger, IL - just outside of the Fire Station
Early Registration : online at the official webpage
Early packet pickup : Steger Village Hall (3320 Lewis) from 7/5 - 7/8 10:00am - 4:00pm - must bring ID or registration receipt.
Race Day Registration and packet pickup : 6:30am - 7:30am near start/finish line. ID needed for packet pickup or registration receipt

Price : $25

WHAT DO YOU GET?

  11. Terrain consists of some small rolling hills - entire course on village streets

  14. On-site real-time scoring and timing
  15. Digital finish line clock, which can be seen from a distance
